''There will be more ON the Numbers, yes. But explaining WHY and HOW they are magic is like trying to explain why some magic kids are born to two muggles. The Valenzetti Equation USES those numbers, but trust me, they were around LONG before the early '60s. But for fans waiting for an advanced dissertation on the mythic significance of the numbers, I direct them to Qui-Gon Jinn's speech to Shmi Skywalker regarding midichlorians and pose the following question: Happy now?''

Kosher Cheeseburger?
The Jewish community is torn over whether a kosher cheeseburger being served at a NYC restaurant should be considered sacrilegious.
This is like a vegetarian being philosophically torn a veggie burger.

Since it is abundantly clear that Hillary Clinton cannot catch Barack Obama in pledged delegates, the prolonging of the Democratic primary is not going to endure Obama to the voters of swing states:
Not only is the opportunity cost--to wrap up the nomination, and spend John McCain into the ground for four months--uniquely high, but the venue could not be less convenient. Pennsylvania is a swing state that Democrats will almost certainly need to win in November, and Clinton will spend seven weeks and millions of dollars there making the case that Obama is unfit to set foot in the White House. You couldn't create a more damaging scenario if you tried.More on that logic here.

Summing It Up
In campaign news, Hillary Clinton released today this fear-inducing ad currently playing in Texas and Ohio. You can read Obama's response here.
Reminds one of this Bill Clinton quote from 2004, campaigning for John Kerry:
Reminds one of this Bill Clinton quote from 2004, campaigning for John Kerry:
Now one of Clinton’s laws of politics is this: If one candidate’s trying to scare you and the other one’s trying to get you to think, if one candidate’s appealing to your fears and the other one’s appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope.Well said.

Who would have guessed that when you remove Garfield from the Garfield comic strips, the result is an even better comic about schizophrenia, bipolor disorder, and the empty desperation of modern life? Friends, meet Jon Arbuckle. Let’s laugh and learn with him on a journey deep into the tortured mind of an isolated young everyman as he fights a losing battle against lonliness in a quiet American suburb.
